This was a present for an elderly friend who has used the book in her daily devotions for years - her paperback copy was disintegrating! She was delighted with its cover, size of print and general readability. A great success.

Spurgeon was a very eloquent preacher, whose message is one of God's constant care and affection for His saints... I found it inspirational and his similies are understandable in our modern day context, even though they are over 100 years old. If you want something, concise, scholarly and a golden nugget to guide how you see your life on a daily basis, this is the devotional for you!
