About the Author

Eden Butler is an Amazon best-selling editor and writer of New Adult Romance and SciFi and Fantasy novels and the nine-times great-granddaughter of an honest-to-God English pirate. This could explain her affinity for rule breaking and rum. Her debut novel, a New Adult, Contemporary (no cliffie) Romance, "Chasing Serenity" launched October 2013. When she's not writing or wondering about her possibly Jack Sparrowesque ancestor, Eden edits, reads and spends way too much time watching rugby, Doctor Who and New Orleans Saints football. I didn't want this book to end! The writing was brilliantly captivating. The storyline was unique and the chemistry between Declan and Autumn was great...even if they weren't always getting along. The supporting characters were lovable and human. A few editing issues but not enough of them to deflect me from becoming attached to these characters. I definitely need more stories from this author, hoping for all the girls to get a book ;)

This book had been recommended on a book blog, and I loved it, not too much dwelling on the dark sadness of her mothers death, I loved the idea of rugby players, and Declan did not disappoint! Not too much swooning over his or her looks either which you sometimes find in these books, I'm looking forward to the next book very much.

A touching and emotional love story. Really well written, great characters. Autumn lost everything she loved, only her friends kept her going and just when she thinks she has her life sorted it all gets tipped upside down. Can she finally let love in? Loved this book.

This is the first book I've read by this author & it certainly won't be the last.
I gotta say I totally loved this book. Autumn is a fantastic main character. Although she has gone through a lot of headache she is an extremely strong character.
Now Declan the male character.... Swoon:) he is certainly drool material. I couldn't have guessed how this book would end. I stayed up late last night as I had to finish it.
This is a fantastic book that I'll highly recommend.
Received from author in return for honest review.

I was impressed by this author after reading the brilliant 'Thin Love' so decided to read her previous titles. This book was her debut and she did a good job but there were some things that reminded me of Thin Love however I can see with that book how much her writing has progressed.

The story is set in a town in America where Irish ex pats settled. I love the Irishness of the story and the author wrote those aspects well including the accents. Autumn's mother died in a car crash five months ago and Autumn was badly injured. Her father left years ago and a year ago Autumn's boyfriend of two years also left. Now he's back to captain the Rugby team and he wants to get back with Autumn but she's completely changed from the silly girl who was in love with him. Now Autumn's wary of love.

Declan has come from Ireland to play for the Rugby Team. The first time he meets Autumn he doesn't leave a good impression but as time goes on they begin to get on and realise they have something in common. Both have lost their mothers. Autumn finds herself opening up to Declan when she can't with anyone else, not even her bestfriends. Autumn's ex, Tucker is jealous of her relationship with Declan and tries to intervene.

Eventually Autumn gives in to Declan's advances but then something happens and Autumn finds out Declan is keeping something from her. On top of all this Autumn's father has returned. I did think she forgave her father too quickly considering how much his leaving hurt her.

This is a good debut. I liked the story and yes I guessed what Declan's secret was but it didn't spoil it when it was finally revealed. I loved Declan, the cheeky Irish charmer! Autumn is a great character. She's definitely no pushover.

After surviving a horrific car accident that claimed the life of her Mother Autumn McShane is slowly trying to rebuild her life. Still suffering from her injuries and nursing a broken heart she wonders if she’ll ever be the same.
Over a year has passed since she was left emotionally broken by the man she thought was her world and is in no hurry to start a new relationship.
Declan Fraser could be the one to change her mind….
Declan is intrigued by this girl, he wants to know more about her, why is she so different? Why does he feel so strongly for her have only a few meetings?
As he and Autumn become increasingly close and she begins to lower her guard a lifetime of secrets threaten to tear them apart.

Wow!! How an Irish accent can make my heart melt….
Ever since P.s I Love You I’ve wanted another smooth talking Irishman to steal my heart and Declan Fraser did just that.
Autumn is scared to let anyone get close to her after being completely broken by her ex. He controlled her emotionally and at the end didn’t recognise herself. She is determined that won’t ever happen again…..I loved reading how Declan broke down those defences.
He is rude, cocky and sarcastic, yet with his forthright honesty and cheeky dialogue he was a delight to read.
How many times have I said that a strong female character can define a book, well Autumn did. Her strength of character and determination not be pushed down defines this story perfectly without overshadowing a wonderful love story.
