Life at the lower levels of the professional tennis circuit is certainly not glamorous but the dreams and hopes are no less grand. Greg is able to articulate his story with an engaging combination of humor and passion.
This book is a must for anybody who wants to read a story about following your dreams and overcoming the odds and is a real inspiration. I recommend you don't just buy one copy, but buy two, one for yourself and one for somebody who needs a dose of positivity in their lives
Greg Howe is the Charles Dickens or Emile Zola of tennis literature, giving us a tantalising account of his struggles and ultimate success on the lower rings of the Pro Tour. This is a recommended read for any true tennis fan.
Before this book I didn’t have much interest in tennis but I certainly do now. This is a must read for tennis fans AND for those who aren’t. Through the skill of the writer, you are absorbed into their world and want to make it part of yours.
A thoroughly well written and thrilling account of an adventure not many are brave enough to take - and we get the pleasure of doing so from the comfort of our sofa. Well done - an excellent first book. I’m hoping there will be more!
