I am a big fan of Nicole edwards erotic novels...oh yeah! but this is a contemporary romance and a little different from her other books.
Coop well what can i say about him...sweet...sexy...dominant where it counts and off the charts hot! I loved this romance...Coop saw what he wanted and made sure he went out of his way to get the girl.
Both main characters were floundering really for different reasons both looking for something but not sure what and when they first met the sparks flew and didnt stop throughout the book...angst/drama along the way but a lovely romance all tied up at the end nicely.
Great writing as always, fell in love with the characters...cant wait for Jack's story-should be interesting!
Well done on a fabulous book and i for one cant wait for more.

Nicole Edwards has done it again. not sure about this book as I love all her previous series but this author has proved she can write romance as well as erotica. Love coop and Tessa can't wait for next in the series. Well worth a 5 star review

Nicole Edwards is a definite read for me, and the start to this latest series did not disappoint.

Tessa Donovan part owns "The Rusty Nail" bar in Devil's Bend, Texas, with her brother Adam, having inherited it from their absent father. Tessa runs the bar, whilst Adam organises the entertainment. Tessa has had her fair share of disappointments and heartache, but the bar fills her life, along with her two trusty Siberian hounds; Harmony and Havoc (blinding names!) She has also been supported by her aspirations for the future, something she has yearned to do since her wayward, teenage youth.

One day, her life is altered by Cooper Krenshaw entering her stratosphere. Cooper is renowned within the country music scene, and finds himself singing in "The Rusty Nail" thanks to his university friend, Adam.

...the biggest news to hit Devil's Bend since Jessica Sanderson told the Devil's Bend Gazette that she was having triplets

Tessa and Cooper have an immediate attraction to each other, but Tessa is wary of delving into another relationship that would steal her heart.

I really enjoyed Tessa and Cooper's dalliances. Tessa was a feisty, jovial character, yet caged and distrustful with matters of her heart. Cooper was the epitome of a handsome cowboy. He had the looks, the gravelly voice and the endearing manner to easily weave himself into any cowgirls life. Her and Cooper's lives become entangled quite quickly, given the path he chooses in order to make himself a permanent fixture in Devil's Bend.

It was a less erotic story than we have become accustomed to in Nicole's CD and AI series, but never the less steamy enough to keep my interest piqued.

Nicole Edwards has again writen another great story, Chasing dreams is about Coop, a country music star and Tessa a bar owner, Coop wants to get away from it all and agrees to help out his friend Adam, Tessa's brother, once he sees Tessa his angel in blue jeans he just has to have her, and not for the short term either, he's in it for the long haul, this is a fantastic book by a fantastic author, i can't wait to read Vanishing Dreams book 2 in the series, it's about Dalton Coop's friend who we were introduced to at the end of chasing dreams, well done Nicole another winner :)

A new direction for Nicole Edwards with this book, her first contemporary romance after her hugely successful Club Destiny and Alluring Indulgence series, Nicole has created two extremely sweet characters in Cooper Krenshaw and Tessa Donovan.

Cooper a famous country singer finds himself in Devil’s Bend and more specifically Tessa Donovan’s bar, The Rusty Nail. Having been friends with Tessa’s brother, Adam, since College, Cooper agrees to stay for a while in Devil’s Bend as a favour to Adam.

Cooper knew Adam had a brother, Jack, and a sister, but hadn’t met Tessa until she stumbled into his arms at the bar. Immediately attracted to her he is surprised to find out the next day that she is in fact Adam’s sister and the woman he will be working for at The Rusty Nail.

Mutually attracted to each other, Tessa struggles with her past demons and determined to rebuff Cooper’s interest in developing a relationship with her, finds herself unable to resist his advances. Cooper is just what unknowingly Tessa is looking for. Dealing with his own insecurities, Cooper wants above all things to fall in love and settle down into a long-lasting relationship. Tessa finds trusting a man a near impossible task especially after her husband Richie leaves her alone and facing an uncertain future, that is until she meets Chad Harper, who turns out to be the biggest mistake of her life.

The story was a sweet and touching one with no real excitement or drama. I felt that some scenes in the story could have been expanded upon when in fact the reader was led to the scene conclusion just as it was getting interesting.
