God, there is way to much to say about this book! It has everything and has to be one of the best L.J Smith trilogys! This and her Vampire Diaries are the best trilogys! Here is a little preview of the book: When Julian, a gorgeous cyber-punk, see's Jenny Thorton for the first time , when she's five, he falls instantly in love with her! Then she's a teenager and Julian ia ready to have her and introduce himself!
He sells her a game in the first book, The Hunter, and Jenny and her firends fall into this game and are forced to face there nightmares! When Jenny out-smartes Julian and locks him in a closet her and her friends come back to the real world and go on with there lives.
The Chase is about what happens when Julian gets out. He's back in this non-stop page turner and has a whole new game up his sleeve! This time he's even more deadly and GORGEOUS! IF YOU LIKE HORROR AND LOVE STORIES COMBINED then you will absolutly love this!!!! In this book he WILL have Jenny at any cost!
THIS IS THE BEST OUT OF THE THREE BOOKS IN THE TRILOGY! JUST READ IT! I PROMISE YOU'LL BE HOOKED TO L.J SMITH FOREVER! This has everything! you should also check out her other trilogy's and her Night World Series! Thanks- Spacecadetgirl@hotmail.com midnight circle Lestata

The second part to the forbidden game is excellent! They all think that nothing worse could happen to them then BAM! It happens! This book is absolutely brilliant! I could not put it down! I read it in one day i was that hooked! The fine detail of the looks, the eyes and the hair it just keeps you reading the book! I think that L J Smith deserves an award for this book! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to escape reality and has an active imagination!

This is one of the first and best point horror books that i have read. I recommend it to anyone. LJSmith describes the layout and characters in such away that you are there and you can't help but feel what the people are feeling. All three books are a must read and highly recommended by me and probably any one else who has read it.

At first I didn't like the FG trilogy, but just recently I read it again and was spellbound! How could I miss this wonderful series?! I think it was her most original plot yet. Julian's a god! If Jenny don't want him, then I want him! LOL I liked THE CHASE better than THE HUNTER. THE KILL was the best one though!

I read this series years ago when I was a teen - got them from the local library. Years later and I still remembered the scenes and how it made me interested in Norse mythology (this book uses it VERY loosely - but it's there).
Bought this so I could take a trip down memory lane.. My memory of it wasn't ruined but I read it as an adult a lot quicker and with less interest. Still a good story but definitely for teenagers! It still holds a place in my heart as a series that took me away to a wonderful world.

This book was pretty good, but not as good as the rest of theseries. The Game they had to play this time wasn't as interesting as the Games from _The Hunter_ and _The Kill_, and it also wasn't as fair (it wasn't even really a Game - it was just Julian capturing them all one by one). And the way Jenny tricks Julian to get to his base is just laughable. Plus, it just seemed too implausible that Jenny would just go dancing off with a total stranger at the dance, or that the others would scramble for "logical explanations" for all the strange things happening - if *I* had been involved in the first Game, I would be quite paranoid afterward, and would call the others the instant *anything* out of the ordinary happened. It was still good - it just paled next to the other two books.
