ChapelWood 0.3kg Rocket Niger Feeder
Niger seed is a natural tonic, particularly loved by the finch family. Bring these gorgeous garden visiting birds to your lawn in style, with the ChapelWood Rocket Niger Feeder. Chapelwood Rocket Niger Feeders are an attractive, hardwearing and practical way to attract a variety of wild birds to your garden to feed. This particular design consists of an all metal construction in a contemporary green and black colour scheme. A hardy mesh design makes this perfect for hanging birds such as finches or woodpeckers, whilst the integrated feeding tray at the rocket’s base also allows the likes of robins to feast, and means that you can use the rocket as either a hanging or a surface feeder. Capable of holding up to 0.3kg of niger seed, the Rocket Feeder is a unique way to keep the birds well-fed and well-loved.

However I've had it up for a few weeks now (knowing it sometimes takes a while for the birds to approach a new feeder), however this one has gone unused.
With black metal and black seeds it may be confusing the birds.
It may look better, but save your money and pick up a cheap plastic feeder for a couple of quid, and spend the savings on feed for the birds, or a drink for yourself!
... but I'm revising the review down to two stars now because the birds don't seem to notice it and I suspect they find it hard to get the seed out. It never empties like my other feeders do.
Perhaps the rocket feeder need some perches attached to it.

A well made feeder. No goldfinches on mine yet but it holds the seeds well. Can't fault it.Published 9 months ago by S. P. James
I am seriously perplexed by this product which incorporates a plastic sleeve which seems to prevent the seeds from reaching the holes and I just don't know how to use it. Read morePublished 19 months ago by Hanan Baradon
Good looking well made product and goldfinches visit it pretty often.Published 23 months ago by Leza H
Having never had a Niger feeder in the garden before. I expected birds to take some time before they started to use it.
After a month still no birds using it. Read more

Excellent piece of equipment , well made and easy to clean and the goldfinches like to eat their niger seed from it .Published on 8 April 2014 by Janet Fear
Very sturdy and looks great but the wind blows the seed out too easily. Would only put out in summer which isn't when they need it most.Published on 21 Mar. 2014 by Birdie
