The two receivers are quite small and have a hot shoe for one flash unit, two small switches to set the channel and an on/off switch. These units take two AAA batteries which are easy to replace and obtain. Each of the receivers has a tripod mount on the bottom and a red LED light to show when a signal is received.
The bodies of all three units are made of plastic but because of the small size the all feel quite strong.
Do they work? Yes! Attached one receiver to my Pentax unit, one to the Sigma unit powered them up and then switched on the receivers. Switch them on before you power up your flash units as that will fire the flash. That is OK if you are not looking at the flash tube whilst you switch them on - can still see the tube after a few minutes! I have only done a few test shots so far and they have fired every time. Not sure what the effective distance is but 20ft through a wall did work. The instructions say they should work up to 20 metres.
I never managed to get consistent results with it. Sometimes the flashes would fire, but most of the time they didn't. Working with these just became a really frustrating experience for me.
I would invest in something better, these aren't worth the money.
I cannot say that I have and any problems with them at all. The hot shoes are a good tight fit and work perfectly.
I have only had one misfire in maybe 1000 shots, and that was with a reinforced concrete floor and 7-8m in between. Five or six other shots in the same situation worked fine though. Batteries were also not new, so if it had been a big problem I could have tried new ones.
My ishoot wireless trigger worked fine for the limited use it had about 4 photo shoots and then when just over a year old stopped working. Changed battery etc but will still not work. It will fire the flash when the button on the top is pushed but not when the camera is fired even though the red transmit light comes on to indicate signal being sent. My camera works fine with other products.
I'm sure it works done for others, but just be prepared.

Works fine, but you have to have a clear path between trigger and reciever for them to work.
But I would recommend to others.
You get what you pay for. I have had them working fine, and at other times they have let me down. Work pretty well with freshly charged batteries. Read morePublished on 17 Aug. 2013 by Dan Blood
