I bought this because shock absorber is known for its expertise in making sports underwear for high impact activity and this bra in particular looked nice and plain styling in pure black, with NO PADDING!! I really had padding in sports bras, I find they add so much extra bulk. This is really slim but so effective for people who are a C cup or more for running and high impact - minimal movement. Very fast drying to so its easy to wash and is good in the heat. I do think it is quite a tight fit for try high impact efficacy but I actually like the secure feeling, however you probably wouldn't want it on all day at the same time! It is also excellent that it comes in multiple back sizes - My band size is a 30 (UK)/ 75 (EU) and it can be really hard to find C/D cup sports bras with this band size. £25 is also really reasonable a bra - couldn't recommend more for people who area similar size.

Brilliant. I already have one shock absorber bra, not this exact one it I wanted one that had a higher neck line. In normal bra size I am 38DD with broad shoulders. My other SA bra was a 40D. I was going to get the same in this one but they didn’t have a D so I had the 40DD and it fits perfectly. Love it. I’m not a distance runner but it’s perfect for my use on the treadmill.

I've had several of these over the years, they're great for horse riding, gym sessions, jogging and martial arts. I find I always need a bigger cup size in shock absorber bras than in bras from Marks and Spencer but the band size is the same. I wash them at 40 and air dry and they're fine I've tumble dried them as well, doing so regularly does shorten the lifespan. Without tumble drying they last just over a year before the support starts to go

Bought to replace a lost one. Same size brand etc. But it's clearly a different design now. The fit is smaller and the band u derbeatj not as nice . I'm actually a cup size bigger. But no I will seems to make them bigger. Funny as the bigger we are the more it's needed. However the first one was almost perfect this one is good enough . Call t really fault it . Keeps them on place whilst jumping around

Before I bought this bra I read as many reviews as I could before I purchased this bra. I did order the next size up as most of the reviews suggested to do this and I am glad I did. I am a 38DD and so I ordered a 40DD. It fits perfectly and is super comfortable. It gives me great control with minimal bounce and has the added bonus of making my boobs look smaller. Will definitely order another. Great price as well.

Get your normal size!

I was dubious as to what size get as some reviews said the go up a back size, I did not and I am glad I got my normal size because a sports bra is supposed to be a snug fit, we'd fall out otherwise! I have tried loads of sports bras before but this is by far the best I have ever had. From now on I think I'll only buy these, hardly any movement even in jumping jacks which were never my friend, but not despite my level of fitness boot camp and running seem easier because I'm not constantly sorting my bra out.
