Product Description

Product Description

Makes Steve McQueen s Bullitt look like a cartoon said Top Gear s Jeremy Clarkson.

Banned in 1976, terrifying yet exhilarating and absolutely compulsive this now legendary film with its surprise ending through beautiful 70s Paris has been shrouded in myths since its first release.

Was seminal French director Claude Lelouch really arrested when it was first shown? Was it a Formula 1 driver in the iconic Ferrari 275 GTB at the wheel? If it s real, how did he do it ?

Lelouch s electrifying 9-minute drive has to be seen to be believed. No car chase on film has, or ever will, come close. The reality of no special effects, edits or blocking off streets is terrifying.

Review

Is this the greatest car film ever made. --The Sunday Times

This really is a must buy for any petrol head. With My Sonos Playbar turned up this was great. Only downside was that I would have hoped for some additional content other than just the 12 minute video clip. Thus the 3 stars. Quite expensive for a 12 minute video.

Somewhere between James Bond and Alain Delon roars C'etait Un Rendezvous.Classy ,stylish, imaginative. Is it an old spice advert? Is it a trailer for a cult action move? Watch this vision and indulge in escapism. The driver is a connoisseur of desire. The only passenger in the vehicle is his own masculinity. So cool, yet you know the driver cares not about such concepts.Add this to your collection and let some of the cache seep into your life.

Got almost what I was expecting. The footage is awesome. I was dissapointed by the Blu ray box. There are no booklets, no additional material included with the disc. It is just the blu ray that is everything. Gives cheap impression. When purchasing such unique film I was expecting some additional materials to complete the whole experience,

You can not expect a high definition glossy print. Claude Lelouch's short film is an ingenious masterpiece which will be viewed over and over again. The print lacks quality and a feature on the production of the short film would have been an asset. Otherwise this has a cult factor.
