Like Marius and Fanny (to be read in order: Marius, Fanny, César), pure Pagnol! Clever and funny, but also deep...certain ideas, lines, turns, will make you laugh out loud...delightful. There isn't a single character you could ever dislike or not love or, and at the same time it's so real. Absolutely addictive, a theatre piece that makes the world a better place, as usual with Marcel Pagnol.
