Product Description

About the Author

In the early days of certification study preparation the focus was almost exclusively on cramming. We had a new medium for content that didn’t come with the same restrictions as the more traditional forms. We could present material as we felt was necessary and we could do it quicker. As the certification industry grew, so did the approach to gaining readership. In many cases, publishers had their focus shifted away from ultimate understanding of what was being covered, to producing word-for-word exact-match contents significantly motivated by increasing revenue. While it’s definitely easier to produce content by going that route, we don’t believe it’s the only way to conquer an exam. At the same time, we don’t believe readers need the 500-page megatext. As long as there’s a balance, we are happy. Our mission at ExamREVIEW is to be a part of that balance. Our No-Frills ExamFOCUS study notes are written to be plain simple and straight forward. We don’t paginate material to increase page count, we break them apart across logical boundaries to improve readability. All fancy extra features are removed. We provide study notes that are concise and occupying less pages (so to save trees). And we want you to be up and ready as easy as possible! We are the original developer of our NO FRILLS Exam prep products. Contents are developed entirely in-house, basing on our own research efforts. We believe that with the right preparation material and the right study approach, everyone can clear exams ethically.

Terrible, awful, disgraceful, waste of money, not 1Z0-805 focused. A little on java history, a lot on java basics (which is not required for this exam) and I gave up at that point. Every page is double spaced with a 14 (or larger) font size. Its 70 pages long, but would not fill 30 pages if properly formatted.

Stay away, spend your money on ice-cream and chocolate and you'll learn the same amount about 1Z0-805.

HASH(0x8bc04d98) out of 5 stars Don't buy this useless book 23 May 2014

A waste of $20.00. The book is 69 pages long and has a typeface for a 1st grader or a blind person. Besides that, it has the briefest of discussions on each exam topic and a single example code for each. There is no simulation of the exam - tricky mutiple choices or exam "exhibit" style questions. There are 81 quesitions on the final four pages. Here is Q1 ; What serves as a blueprint from which an object is created? Q81: A module is highly coupled with another when: _____. It goes over topics that have nothing to do with the Upgrade Exam like "Functions and Methods", "Class Declaration", "Arguments and Return Types", "Variable, primitive types and wrapper classes" - basic stuff. I should return the book and ask for a refund - a first ever for me!
