This is a excellent story as the first in the set of HELLstalkers books and if it goes on as this one started then readers are in for an amazing journey.
The story is based around an explosion at the Large Hydron Collider in Geneva which in turn causes rifts which in time disgusting monsters will come through. And the stories lead character Memphis Stone puts a team of fighters together called the HELLstalkers to deal with them.
This is a well written book with loads of adventure action and sci-fi in it which made me not want to put it down. Although you only learnt a bit about the characters this hopefully will lead into the following books where we will learn more.
I would say to anybody to pick this up and give it a read the authors have done a fab job.
Lets hope the next one isnt too far away 5 stars from me.

A good and solidly written adventure - I would recommend for a long journey or those times when a distraction is needed

A decent story setting the scene for a series. Reads well though reiterates key points frequently.
Gentle escapism not to graphic

A good solid read, with an interesting premise that sets the scene nicely for further novels. I'll definitely keep my eye on this series.
