Exceptionally Presented & Feeling Very High End But Results Though Good, Made Us Question The Value
I got this for my wife and it is presented beautifully in a simple white box with uncluttered branding. It looks and feels like a high end product, as it should given the price. The glass bottle features an ingenious dropper/pipette system where you unscrew the lid and the top raises for you to administer the drops. I've included a little video of this in action which I hope you find helpful.She found that when applied to the skin it feels like oil and she thought it would make her face feel very greasy and in those initial application moments, it does. But you do need to rub it in quite a few times for the skin to absorb it and after that, the good news is that by the morning there was no greasiness and her skin felt refreshed.It does have a scent and it's one we had conflicting opinions on. She didn't like it that much but I actually did. It has an initially strong earthy smell which soon fades once applied, leaving only the faintest scent. It is definitely a unique and unusual smell for a beauty product.The oil claims to target blemishes but she didn't find it that effective on that front. It was far better at general skin freshness instead.To conclude then, whilst it felt very nice and is a lovely well made product, for her it was the price vs results that just made it feel not worth it. She kept thinking that there are other just as good options out there that would give similar results for less.If you are OK with that cost though, don't be put off. This is still a very unique and interesting face oil and you won't be disappointed with the quality.

    I have been using the serum for a few months now and I absolutely love it. I wasn't sure about the oil as most face oil I used in the past blocked my pores and I found them feeling greasy on my skin. Amazon was offering 20% off on all CG products a week or so ago, so I decided to give the oil a go. I dispensed the oil from the glass tube onto my skin and gently rub and massage on my face, within seconds it completely absorbed into my skin. My face feels so smooth and hydrated, it smells lovely too. It's amazing really!!! I now use both the serum and the oil as my daily skin care routine, I am very happy with them.

    I have a sensitive skin with oily forehead and very dry cheeks. It was said that this oil is for sensitive skin so i have decided to try it. I applied this oil in the evening and woke up with terrible ichy flakey spots on the bottom of the cheeks and chin. It looked and felt like eczema. And my forehead was covered with inflammations!!! I had a clean skin before this happened! It is a disaster. It cant be for sensitive skin! At least it contains linalool... And i am in doubt that this oil has been tested properly. Disappointed and too upset.

    This is the second product that I have tried from Cellular Goods, having previously used the facial serum.
    My thoughts on this face oil are very much along similar lines.

    This is a quality face oil and it works well in conjunction with your usual facial moisturiser - but at the current price of £79 for a mere 30ml this works out at a whopping £263 per 100ml.
    In good conscience, there is no way that I could suggest that any facial oil is ever worth spending that amount of money on - hence the 3-star rating.
    If you are in the fortunate position where money is no significant object to you, then go ahead and get yourself some of this very good product.
    For other mere mortals there are other products available that will do a perfectly decent job for a substantially smaller outlay.

    This oil definitely works. I never saw anything like this before and I have had a lot of these things - from L'Occitane, Helena Rubenstein, Emulsion, and other rather expensive skincare brands. And this is the first oil that made my skin smooth overnight. I have to admit, it was on top of the usual exercise routine that I tend to forget about more often than not. But this combination really worked wonders. I never expected anything like this from a skincare product, but here I am - impressed and very happy to have ordered this oil.
    It is very lightweight. Once you apply it, it gets absorbed by the skin within 5 minutes or so. I have noticed that the skin seems to get less responsive with time and after around 3 weeks I now feel that some of this oil remains on my skin, not that I feel any residue but the skin feels slightly oily when I wash my face in the morning (or during the day, when I apply it in the morning). I assume it might be due to my skin having received plenty of its fill. I will give it some rest and then I hope it will keep working.
    It must have all the filters it claims it does since I felt no change to the way my skin felt after a long walk in the sun, and my skin always gets darker and feels very hot immediately.
    And, the last but definitely not the least - the scent! Oh my, what a gorgeous, gentlest scent of lavender! I have never been big on lavender but this oil is mind-blowing! It feels incredible, it smells gorgeous and it works in miraculous ways. I am so impressed, I cannot even compose a coherent review.
    Highly recommended. I just feel slightly dizzy at the price tag. But it, 1) is worth every penny; 2) will last a long while as you need just 3 drops and the applicator is an automatic pipette type, as soon as you screw the cap on the dispenser fills with oil and you control the quantity of the oil you apply by pressing a button gently.

    UPDATE: Now, half a year later, I still have almost half the little bottle left and I was using it quite regularly, there have been a few days I have skipped it altogether but I am still surprised at how long it lasts. The clicking mechanism in the lid, however, seems to be broken now, it works with a few hiccups but I manage to work it with some effort.
    I have also noticed that on a very warm day the skin under this oil needs to be cleaned during the day and have some time to be without anything on, which is only understandable.
    It is still the best oil I have had so far and I am still standing by my work - happy to recommend it.
