This book is beautiful and inspirational. The small changes in the sutras increased their relevance to modern life. I will read it again and again. Five stars.

This was an interesting read but, for me, nothing special. It is well written and clear. Useful if you are interested in Buddhism, which I am not.

4.0 out of 5 stars It was a slow start at first..... 17 May 2014

but it was a pleasant read once you got into the rhythm of the writing.
The verses were well written so as to better understand what the original Sanskrit was saying.
I think it was well done, just short enough to keep your interest and long enough to get the messages across.
I have a few other books by the same author and I am anxious to explore them.

Allright, a bit trite for my taste.

some of this comes through and some doesn't. it is yet another attempt to make intelligible what the Buddha meant in Pali etc. I do like Tai's style of writing and there are thoughts here to meditate on.

I love this book, I consider a handbook good to share to those on the spiritual journey.
The more I read the more I became engaged, you end up wanting more at the last page...
