Shame the patterns aren't written for both knitters and crocheters. I don't knit so can only use less than half the patterns on the book. However, as the basic hat style is the same throughout I'm hoping to be able to work out how to do the knitted top pieces in crochet as my favourite ones are done in knitting

Disclaimer : slightly biased review as my cat is one of the models :o)
She found wearing the hats very comfortable as they weren't too heavy and were well made. Easy to pop on, and she managed to zoom around the studio without the hats falling off. I'm not a knitter, but my mum is going to have a go. Some beautiful photography of some georgeous cats!

Fabulous little hats. Comical and adorable. Can't wait to get started. And it's a great way to use up odds and ends of wool.

Good book for beginners or casual crafters.
help your cats have a happy-ever-after.
made these for a family holiday photo shoot,
most of my friends thought these hats were a hoot.
you can use the base design to make your own,
your cat friends will be asking for these to loan.

3.0 out of 5 stars I wouldnt buy it again, but sometimes you have to have a book about cat hats laying around. 22 Dec. 2015
By Aunt Bee - Published on Amazon.com

This was a late night, too much vodka purchase. The premise is good but the hats are basically the same pattern and the sizing is way off when using the given needles and yarn weight. The book is a funny conversation piece, though.

Will be making some of these. Not sure my cat will wear them. But they're sooooo cute.

I used the patterns to create hats for kitties at the local shelter! We're now planning a photo shoot for 6 newborn kittens for when they're bigger and I've made hats for them all.
