Catherine Holland was born in Plymouth, Devon while her family lived on a boat, a 50' converted Naval Pilot vessel. The third of 4 children, she grew up to have 3 children of her own. She studied Human Psychology at Loughborough University, and then Rebirthing Breathwork, practising for 25 years. Following a horrific road traffic accident which crushed her leg, she became interested and trained in treating injuries. She later specialised in treating old ones, sometimes decades old. She recovered to take her bike test and currently rides a Honda Firestorm. She met her present husband while climbing in Derbyshire, they have published the story of their meeting in "That's Me! An email odyssey to find a soulmate".
Her previous training in breath work led to her writing an introduction, now titled "Rebirthing Breathwork: The making of an Independent Adult". She believes that this training probably saved her life when she lost half her blood in the accident, along with her Vegan whole food, 50% raw diet.
Catherine enjoys writing from experience, so her writing comes from working with people, their lives and lessons. Her writing so far has been non-fiction intended to help people to help themselves in loving, living, parenting and changing their lives for the better. She is an inspiration to others and enjoys writing to express this. Her online programmes are an extension of this interest.
She draws on her experience as a woman and mother, a Breastfeeding Counsellor, a Rebirther and an Old Injuries Specialist. The latest title comes from her increased interest in raw food: Raw Puddings.
Following a serious accident she trained to treat others with injuries. She successfully treated hundreds of patients with physical and psychological traumas, ranging from back and knee injuries, from skiing and lifting heavy weights, to road traffic accidents. Many following operations, some to avoid them. All had been in pain for many years. She now focusses on teaching breathwork online, as well as spending time on her artwork.
