What a brilliant first book in this new series, the story and characters are so addictive and I can't get enough of Harborside either absolutely love it, it feels like home from home because we know it so well.!
There are two very sad situations going on throughout this story as if Wyatt and Delilah loosing their parents wasn't bad enough, at least their parents loved them and they were left a livelihood and security I actually thought Cassidy's situation was worse, heartbreaking, it made me cry so much, the fact that her parents all but abandoned her and she had looked after herself from around 8yrs, where would she have been without the Armstrong family, all I could think about was where would she go if she wanted to leave Harborside especially when she fell out with Wyatt she couldn't even run away to anywhere, I felt very sad for her, you do feel as if your there it all feels very real.
As the story unfolds we witness heartbreak and turmoil and a lot decision making before things take a turn for the better and we get a beautiful ending but it doesn't come easy though so be prepared.
Melissa Foster has this wonderful knack at conveying her story's so well and Catching Cassidy does just that, the story grips you from the very first chapter and before you know it you are completely absorbed with this wonderful storyline and brilliant characters which in turn we are going to get to read about and I have to say can't wait..
Looking forward to reading discovering Delilah..!!

Catching Cassidy is book 1 in the Harborside Nights Series by Melissa Foster.

I have read a few books from the Love In Bloom series and I am currently working my way through them.

This book is different from the others that I have read - you have got bisexuals, gay, lesbian and even threesome thrown in! and it is done very tastefully and sometimes had me laughing out loud!

This first book centres on Wyatt and Cassidy and they are so cute its unbelievable. They have been best friends forever. Wyatt and his twin sister Delilah have to deal with there parents dying and Cassidy is getting over finding out that her boyfriend has been cheating on her. Wyatt packs them all up and heads to Harborside. That is when you meet a bunch of great people and I can not wait to learn more about them. I am looking forward to reading Brandon's book.

Loved this book and can not wait for the next book.

Catching Cassidy is a New Adult romance. The main characters are aged 22, they are past first loves, they have just graduated from college with the rest of their lives in front of them and big decisions and discoveries ahead.

Wyatt Armstrong is at a graduation party with his twin sister Delilah. He's waiting for his best friend to show up. Cassidy Lowell, has been Wyatt's best friend for 17yrs. She's being messed around by her boyfriend and Wyatt is once again wondering why she's still with that loser. Wyatt's very protective of Delilah and Cassidy, they've grown up together and now the doors are open for the rest of their lives. Cassidy hopes to get an accounting job in New York.

News comes of a fatal car accident and everything changes. Cassidy stands by Wyatt and Delilah, they take each day one at a time. With memories and emotions running high, the three take off to Harborside and the Armstrong summer house. Here there is a supportive network of friends and The Taproom bar which the family own.

Beneath the surface Cassidy and Wyatt's relationship is changing, a hot attraction is forming which they fight to deny. Wyatt sees the next step as a risk to their relationship, but he's so jealous of anyone else who gets close to Cassidy.

This storyline has a good building of relationships, there are sub-characters whose own relationship issues reflect much of the everyday lives of this age group. Wyatt, Delilah and Cassidy all face their own parentless struggles, but the book has several other older people who offer support and guidance. Wyatt works through the question - Just how old do you have to be before you no longer need your parent's guidance? The book is told between the POV of both Cassidy and Wyatt at times it was hard to know which one was narrating for the first few sentences of each POV change. This is the first in a series of NA books which will have links to her adult Bradens from the Love in Bloom series.

This book made me think about how we cope with losing our parents. Thankfully mine are still here but my husband lost his mum last year and now has to part time look after his father who has Parkinson's. Life can be cruel but there is also great things in Wyatts life like Cassidy, his twin sister and their many friends. Would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance. Well done Melissa Foster.

A great start to a new series by Melissa Foster.

The chemistry between two of the main characters, Wyatt and Cassidy, is sizzling. Cassidy has been a friend of Wyatt and his twin sister Delilah since they were 5.

A tragic set of circumstances see the trio retreat to their summer home and taken under the wing of their summer friends just after their graduation.

Wyatt has always been their for his sister and tries to help her come to terms with their loss and accepting her sexuality whilst struggling with his own grief.

Cassidy has just broken up with her boyfriend, her parents are pressuring her to take a job in New York and she has lost the 2 people who were more like parents to her than her own were. She has feelings for Wyatt that she has supressed for years, should she take the job with the promise her parents are going to reconnect with her or should she open up to Wyatt about how she really feels.

Watch the chemistry sizzle and get scorching hot in the will they won't relationship with Wyatt and Cassidy.

Hot and steamy as well as tender and sweet, loved it
