From the back cover:-
'One, two, three, four.....
Help Tilly catch and count her cuddly kittens.
But be quick - they won't stay still for long!'
Large paperback with 24 high quality shiny pages in the popular 2-page spread format.
Beautifully illustrated throughout, further enhanced by relevant facial expressions!
Easy-to-follow text, emphasised in places for effect..
Example of text:-
`Tilly has five kittens in her basket.
One, two three four......
Is he in the doll's house?
No. Snowball is driving the train.
What a clever kitten!........'
But..... no sooner is Snowball back in the basket, and the count begins again........`ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR.....Uh-oh! Where is Midnight, this time?
And one by one the elusive kittens reduce the count........but, don't worry - by the end of the story, they are all tucked up in the basket.....or are they?
This book is a regular favourite in our local Library group......the youngest children love to join in with the count and try and work out which kitten is missing, each time!
The repeat theme is very popular with `Uh-oh' being the best bit!
All compete to be the most vociferous, and as it winds up the book....it lingers on and on and on.....! Uh-oh!
Super book which needs more exposure, in my opinion!
