5.0 out of 5 stars My bearded dragon loved it too! 4 Dec. 2013
By aimee white - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This book is an enjoyable, light read and has a wonderful plot! Cassandra is a young mortal whose family specializes in making Oracle-O fortune cookies. After being cursed by Apollo, so that nobody believes her prophecies, she is stuck making the cookie dough. Her family doesn't allow her to prophecy, but Cassandra sneaks some of her own fortunes into a batch of cookies that is heading for the Mount Olympus Academy where they are put in the cafeteria for all of the Godboys and Goddessgirls to eat!
My favorite character was Cassandra, because of her independent personality. I recommend this book for ages 9-12 and for adults if their minds are still open to imagination and magic. ~Lila Ingers

2.0 out of 5 stars Not bad… 22 Jun. 2015
By Newtontek - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The book is…okay. I guess. I am a VERY fast reader, mind you, and I was able to finish it in a few hours! This book is definitely for ages 9-12 but not so much for adults. The plot is very creative, don't get me wrong. But…there was a whole LOT of exclamation marks. It was like…
Blah blah blah.
Blah bah dah do!
Do dum bam boo!
Blah blah blah!
Haha! That was weird. But I have read most of the other books and they are…well written. It would be azing if they made another series liks this but with the Godboys!
This book though lacked detail and the authors did not describe Cassandra's feelings or thoughts well so…

5.0 out of 5 stars Lucky life 31 Dec. 2013
By Alondra Montes Shreve - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I picked this rating because I read most of the other books and so far this book has been the best. I would recommend this book to all the readers who love books about mythology. I would like to thank Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams for writing this amazing series because it helped me thank more about the gods and goddesses that are the parents of the Percy Jackson series and the Heroes of Olympus of how important they are to history.
5.0 out of 5 stars I haven't read them, but I know they are awesome! 3 April 2014

Both my daughters read practically the whole series. They have always been engrossed in these books up to 11 years old or so. What a great idea to bring mythology to life in such a cool way! I only wish there were more or that the books were longer, because as of right now they are done with them in one afternoon. Keep them coming, there is a lot of good mythology/history out there that our children can get into!
