Pilot functions inspired this Casio G-Shock Premium Sky Cockpit model, this watch features a digital compass with 20 second history, allowing you to maintain a course or bearing easily. This model also benefits from a neon illuminator backlight, that lights the hands and markers out in low light at the touch of a button. The movement is quartz, and also features a thermometer, world time with 48 world cities, 24 hour chronograph with split function, five alarms, date with full auto calendar, and countdown timer. The case is water resistant to 20 atm, and is a stainless steel core, with resin protective pieces, giving the watch incredible shock resistance. The watch fastens on a link bracelet in a mixture of black ion plated steel and polycarbonate for ultimate lightness and strength.

Four alarms. Also beeps on the hour. Two stopwatch functions, temperature and compass.
So, in 2016, the battery needed to be changed, I decided to change the batteries myself, everything went fine until I wanted to screw the metal lid back on. I used fine screwdrivers normally used for electronics and I know how to handle small and delicate screws. Anyway, just as I put the first screw back and hand-tightened it - I realized that the screw just sank into the plastic body as even with gentle force it had eaten away the threading.
Needless to say that there is no purpose in a 1 mm thick metal lid when the screws and their support can't hold the lid closed tight.
The warranty on the watch has conveniently expired, but I wouldn't want it replaced or repaired anyway because this is not a product that I can rely on or worth the money I paid for it. A refund would be satisfying but like I said, the warranty expired, so I don't expect it.
The watch is otherwise great, looks good and everything - but just by "looking under the hood" I realized that it is as robust as an army tank held together by superglue.
This is my first Casio G shock and hopefully will be my last as it doesall I want.
The compass feature is good, the temperature function is only accurate if you take watch off so I don't use it much.
The digital display is small so I don't use the timer function.
It has 5 alarms , I use the daily alarm and it wakes me in the morning and the signal function that beeps on the hour.
I love the way the hands move automatically when you need to change the time ( you set it digitally and they no e to align themselves )
The wright is 4 oz 115 grams
It foes not feel heavy and definitly isnot a large rick.
I play tennis wearing it. And even when hit by a racket . I gave not seen any issues.
Although the watch is rated at 200m I doubt I will ever take it to that depth..
I have been swimming , juccuzzi, steam room and sauna and no problems.
I wad hesitant at paying lot if money for a Casio.
But thus is a quality watch. Time will tell if its strong. My last two pulsar watches were vanquished because the strap broke a d repla ing that woukd gave been expensive.

This is an excellent watch! I always buy G Shock and I think this is the best I've had so far. It arrived the very next day from the seller too!Published 6 months ago by David Gareth Thomas
This has quickly become my every day watch. The styling is great, putting an attractive sunken dial into a traditionally chunky and robust G-shock case. Read morePublished on 2 Jan. 2015 by barnski
