Designed for little fingers, but with lots of features to keep the whole family entertained, the SA-46 Mini Keyboard from Casio is a fun-filled, vibrant introduction to music.
Use the 32 mini keys to explore any of the 100 built-in sounds, including Grand Pianos, Guitars, Saxophones, Trumpets, Violins and much more. You can play any melody you wish, or teach yourself to play a song from the included music songbook. The keyboard also has 50 different drum rhythms that you can play along with at any speed.
The SA-46 has two built-in speakers and can also be played using headphones. The keyboard takes 6 AA batteries and can also be powered using an optional 9.5 volt power adapter.
The SA-46 also has 5 dedicated buttons for drum sounds, giving you a mini drum kit made up of bass drum, snare drum, hi-hat, baya and tabla. These can be used at the same time as the keys so you can ask a friend to play a melody while you take a drum solo.
The keyboard also has a number of sound effects that can be played using the keys.
The SA-46 has 10 built-in songs that you can listen to or play along with. Each song is arranged in a modern, exciting style to inspire young players. When listening to a song, it is possible to turn the melody line off, leaving you to take the lead and play along with the other backing parts.
The keyboard has ten Free Session Styles. Selecting one of these styles gives you a complete backing track with bass, drums and other accompanying instruments that will play whilst you compose your own melody on the keys.
Colourful, Bright and Easy to Use
The SA-46 is designed to be fun to use. All the buttons are easy to operate and clearly labelled. An LCD display shows the number of the currently selected tone, rhythm or song. The big, green Piano / Organ button makes it quick and easy to select the Grand Piano or Reed Organ sound.

Top Customer Reviews
The Casio SA-46 is an inexpensive Mini Keyboard that is one step above being a toy, it is well made and moderately robust, it costs about the same as a family size Chinese takeaway. And if you like those stretched notes and tight looping “Bee in a tin can” sounds, the Casio has lots of them, this is the keyboard for you! The rhythm section is mainly drum beats which you can speed up or slow down using the two tempo buttons. Casio make a larger version of this keyboard, it has extra keys and is longer. But is it worth the extra cash? The SA-46 has two and a half octaves, starting at ‘F’ below middle ‘C’ and going up to the second ‘C’ above, a total of 32 keys. The SA-78 has three and a half octaves, starting at ‘F’ below middle ‘C’ and going up to the third ‘C’ above, a total of 44 keys. It also has a larger screen showing the notes played and a metronome icon. Don’t be fooled by the metronome icon, the tempo is set from “1 to 16”, but “1 to 16” what? It does not tell you the beats per minute, so it’s only guesswork. Beginner keyboard books usually stay within the two and a half octave range of the smaller SA-46. So buying the smaller keyboard and using the money saved to buy a quartz metronome may be the better option, if you have need of a metronome that is.
The keyboard is battery operated and also has an input for an OPTIONAL adaptor.Read more ›
Only down side blacak keys can fall off and once that happens they cannot be put back

Functional and robust for what it does, built like a tank, but it sounds very artificial, much more so than what I'd expect nowadays, more so than what you'd get from a laptop... Read morePublished 1 month ago by Amazon Customer

The sounds are very basic and already we are noticing problems. Spend a little more and get something decent.Published 2 months ago by Rev Bingo
Sound quality is higher than expected. An included AC adapter would be nice.Published 3 months ago by Theo
Great little keyboard, such great value. The little one loves it. She is a bit too obsessed with the demos though. Gah!Published 3 months ago by Amazon Customer
