Prof Andy Lane Andy Lane has authored more than 200 peer refereed journal articles, edited three books and contributes regularly to the media. He is a member of the UKactive Scientific Advisory Board and provides consultancy at the Centre for Health and Human Performance at 76 Harley Street, London. Dr Richard Godfrey Richard Godfrey is Senior Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Human Performance at Brunel University. He worked for 12 years as a physiologist at the British Olympic Medical Centre where he staffed over 130 elite athlete training camps, worked with around 28 different sports in the lab and the field and provided support at many competitions, including numerous World Championships and three Olympic Games. Dr Mike Loosemore Dr Mike Loosemore is a consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine within the National Health Service (NHS), and at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health, University College London Hospitals (UCLH). He is a lead Sports Physician for the English Institute of Sport and is doctor to the British Boxing. He is also a Sports Physician for Centre for Health and Human Performance at 76 Harley Street, London. Mike has accompanied teams to Olympic, Commonwealth Games, World and European Championships and was the Chief Medical Officer for the England Commonwealth Games team in New Delhi 2010 and Glasgow 2014. Prof Greg Whyte In 2014 Professor Greg Whyte was awarded an OBE for his services to Sport, Sport Science & Charity, and was voted as one of the Top 10 Science Communicators in the UK by the British Science Council. Greg is an Olympian in modern pentathlon, and is a European and World Championship medallist. Greg has published over 250 peer reviewed papers, 8 books and is a regular contributor to the print, radio and TV media. Greg is currently a Professor of Applied Sport and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moore’s University and Director of Performance at the Centre for Health and Human Performance at 76 Harley Street, London. He is the Science Advisor to the Commonwealth Games Committee for England and British Rowing, the Dean of the Institute of Sport and Exercise Medicine and Chair of UKActive Scientific Advisory Board.
