It is a sturdy offering, and will certainly protect anything you put into it.
My Kindle Fire DX has a bit of spare space around the edges when I put it in, but I don't think it's in any danger of falling out, so it will work with that tablet.
I have become used to flipping open my current Kindle Fire cover by simply lifting a magnetic catch, so I am still finding that the 'all round zip' is a bit of a faff.
It is excellent when travelling, though, as it completely encloses your tablet, and had some pretty sturdy panels built in, so you can stuff it in a suitcase or rucksack without too much concern.
It will also stand up, as it has a fold down leg along the long side. This makes it handy if you are using it to watch music or movie videos and also helps when using it as a radio (as I do) when travelling abroad.
It effectively doubles up as a radio alarm at the side of your bed.
I can't seem to get it to sit perfectly straight - it's always a bit wonky - but it does the job.
It seems well made and if it lasts it will be an easy piece of kit to recommend.
Personally, if I was travelling and wanted the ultimate level of protection, I would choose this every time, on the basis of the zip and the solid casing. However, if I was at home and wanted a case that enabled quick and easy access to the Kindle Fire, I would go for something different, as the Kindle is pretty hard to operate whilst in this case, meaning you have to take it out and put it back in each time.
Recommend - for your iPad mini, at any rate.
It is hugely sturdy which is nice - no worrying about your iPad breaking whilst inside this beast.
Well made and i love the prop up stand they have built in - very smart.
My only issue is that this case makes an otherwise extremely small and thin piece of reck rather large and heavy..
it seems, I'm afraid to say, almost to contradict itself. If however you need a sturdy case, this is undoubtedly for you!
the kindle fits snugly and the case is so well padded that you can pop it
in your bage secure in the knowledge that it is safe, and know that your
tablet is well protected at all times.
The case has a sturdy double zip which can be secured to the back so you
can use your kindle in the case and it is held securely in place. A well
designed product - if a little on the large size, on the plus side I love
the way gthe case folds out to make a stand - a simple design but very
cleverly thought out. A good quality case which really is fit for purpose
at a very reasonable price.
A solid shell contained in a durable feeling textile cover, with what appears to be a heavy duty zip.
There is flexibility to make this a stand come case, and it feels very strong for the light weight of the case.
The finish is good too - well stitched and all the seams secure.
What I have found though is that after a few days' use the zip jams on one corner - in fact on the corner where there is the most stress when closing the case.
It is then quite difficult to unzip too, and at one point we contemplated taking a knife to extract my son's ipad mini.
Maybe we had a duff zip, or maybe there is a design flaw, so if you get one of these double check the zip runs freel before you make it a keeper.
