Good quality, fits well giving clear access to buttons and mini usb socket. Cut outs are perfectly situated for the camera, speaker and flash. Leaves the top and bottom edges exposed and obviously the front screen, but I knew this when I purchased it, so not a complaint and no scratches on the screen to date. The rubberised texture is reletaively smooth, with no accidental slippages so far. Very slim, really adds no more weight or thickness. Arrived quickly and looks great on my Galaxy S3. I will probably buy the case mate tough or Otterbox defender for all round protection when skiing though.

I originally purchased this product due to the reputable name of Casemate mixed with the style and supposed quality. It was a bit more expensive than other cases out there, but for quality, it's often worth spending that little bit more. Two months later, I have felt the need to revise my review rating. Initially 5 stars, however the matt black coating around the edges has started to come off which detracts from the smart appearance of the phone. Having revisited the product on amazon, I now find that I am not alone in suffering from this issue. Disappointingly, I will be returning this phone and starting my search all over again.

I had a Case Mate Barely There case for my HTC Desire S and it was fantastic so thought I'd just get the same one for my new Samsung Galaxy SIII.

Looks good, fits perfectly and offers good protection, however there's a major problem in that after a few weeks of use the matte coating starting flaking/peeling off and the little bits were appearing my hands. Underneath was shiny black plastic. Anyway, this never happened to the case I had for my HTC so they've obviously changed something with their manufacturing process. Just noticed that others have had the same issue so this is clearly a fundamental problem with this case.

I've returned mine for a refund and am now using a similar but cheaper case.

Have used these cases before and will always in future they do their job perfectly and protect sides and back of phone completely, the top and bottom of phone not as completely protected but not surprising as connections for phone on top and bottom. Would definitely recommend this case over any others I have used or seen in past.

As others have said in their reviews the Matt coating on the case has started to come off along the edges. I've had mine just 3 months and I've only just noticed it so it could have been there longer. On the plus side the case fits really well and is sturdy without adding too much bulk to the phone.

After reading some reviews, I was a bit afraid of ordering this case. It is slim enough and has a very nice texture that gives more grip to the phone. However, the build quality could be better... Only after a few weeks of careful use, it started losing its "rubberised" texture and cracking around the corners.

I had a case mate on my old HTC Desire HD, it did the job for 2 years, looking at what people say about the marks they pick up shows how much they are protecting the device. This one fits well and feels good, nice and grippy in my hand as well were as the plastic of the phone can sometime feel like it might slide out. Overall I think that this product does what I want and it will last the time required. Great Product!
