Simple & inviting recipes that blend traditional Moroccan cuisine with a fresh, contemporary approach.
About the Author
Nargisse Benkabbou was raised in Brussels, where she grew up in a strongly food-oriented family that continually nurtured her connection with her roots and country of origin, Morocco.
After living in Brussels and Paris, Nargisse moved to London to pursue her education in Politics only to realize that her love for cooking and food was a real passion. After training at Leiths School of Food and Wine, she started blogging and sharing her Moroccan recipes 'with a twist'. Her work currently involves recipe and menu development, cooking classes, working as a guest chef and hosting supper clubs.
Each recipe that Nargisse produces is a celebration of her heritage and a care for simplicity and modernity. While she has a strong grasp of traditional Moroccan cuisine, her ultimate goal is to inspire and bring 'a breath of fresh air' to Moroccan food.

The recipes are clearly written and easy to follow and the preambles give serving suggestions and some lovely insights into family life and food.
Every Moroccan food fan should have a copy of this to cherish.
This one however is much easier to get to grips with - everything I've tried has resulted in very tasty meals. A couple of things have already become firm favourites - and a rose harrisa mayo is made weekly - and everyone who has tried it has demanded the recipe.
I know this book will live in our kitchen bookshelf for ever....
This cookbook is filled with dozens of recipes I’ve already bookmarked for the upcoming weeks. Can’t wait to start
