Really enjoyed this book. A brilliant insight into the drug's world in Merseyside. Honestly couldn't put this book down. Johnson, offers a valuable look into the Merseyside cartel over the past 30 years or so.

One fot eh most interesting books I've ever read. I am not usually into reading books but when I read the blurb on this I had to read it and I'm so glad I did.
Not sure the other half was very happy as I was more interested in the book than her.

the book is totally crap...I know people in the book and it is all fabricated, this author should find the facts before writing such rubbish. What is more annoying is that people will read this and believe it......believe me I KNOW that the majority of it is exaggerated and really FAR from the truth

There was no real skeleton to this story, it meandered all over the place. It really consisted of "he said this" and "he did that" there was a lack of continuity. Some of the chapters were interesting but the story lacked depth and background on how things happened. No effort seemed to be made other than reporting what someone said. It was a disappointing read. The books referred to in this book for background were not available or indeed listed on any library database or on the internet.

top book, real page turner. this pretty much has it all
amazingly bold acts, huge loads of gear and extreme violence combined with massive sums of money and some massive egos- all told in a fairly even though entertaining style. the author doesn't big it up and the story feels authentic. if you like the subject then you will find this one of the better reads.

Really good read very interesting and well covered from what seems like all angles get a feel of tensions between police, youth and established criminals also looks at social impacts, how times have changed and what that evolution has brought with it.

Must read for any ture crime fan.
