Product description

"Vivid, buzzing with energy, great rhymes and inventive illustrations, A Caribbean Dozen is a cornerstone anthology." Brian Patten, The Guardian "A sumptuous volume. Here are poems and illustrations full of sensuous delight ... Steeped in sunlight, the book has great vigour, visual alertness and a powerful sense of rhythm ... a magical collection." The Daily Telegraph "The pick of the season... Forget the ads for Caribbean holidays and feel what it's like in the words of people who were born there." Michael Rosen "A great treat. The dozen in the title refers to the thirteen poets who are featured... An excellent introduction to Caribbean poetry." Morag Styles, Book for Keeps "A real cracker." The Independent on Sunday
