Nice photographs and good authentic recipes, just not an especially exciting book.Published 19 days ago by Leo Gibson
Nicely presented, with good photos, but the recipes are rather disappointing. Cannot compare with any of Claudia Roden's books, all of which are superb.Published on 28 Jun. 2014 by E G

There were not enough photos of the recipes.
The recipes were okay but nothing really outstanding.
I would not recommend this book.
Well written book. Lots of simple ingredient recipes but with use of different spices and flavours. Good alternative to mainstream food.Published on 12 Nov. 2012 by frenchiefrom farnham
To be honest I expected a few more distinct recipes. Its a nicely presented book but a rather ecletic mix of home cooking -averagePublished on 22 Mar. 2012 by Amazon Customer
