I'm only 22% of the way through this book and really hooked on what I feel is going to be a brilliant novel.

4.0 out of 5 stars Jake is an FBI drone, mediocrity at it's best, until..... 21 Mar. 2013
By SGL - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Jake Maguire is forty and still single. He had been in the same satellite office doing the same routine investigations for 15 years. His immediate boss, with only a years seniority, still calls him "Rookie". He still needs that one case to make his career. It now looks like he may have that case. Computer hacking with international links along with a few murdered Chinese American programmers. The CIA, NSA and homeland Security all seemed either bureaucratically incapable of or mandated not handle it, that just leaves Jake.
This is an enjoyable mystery with an international flavor. It does have a computer hacking and programing theme running through it but you don't have to be computer literate to enjoy it. Everything flows quickly with fairly clear plot line. While I enjoyed the story and most the characters the ending felt just a little rushed and not quite as satisfying as I would have liked. That could of course just be me, I am a bit more romantic than Jake. Still in all a nice mystery and a nice read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Charlie. T 21 Mar. 2013

Different, very unique and different. I guess it was the part about the flight to China in a UPS aircraft. Still though I would give it a big hand full of stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars He just keeps getting better! 27 May 2013

Fritz makes you feel as if you are along side of him and you know he's been there and experienced the locale.
3.0 out of 5 stars Implausible Contortions 13 April 2013
By JD Grewell - Published on Amazon.com

Maybe becauuse I live in DC I expected less implosibles. Mr. Galt starts with a very interesting death in Arlington, VA but ends the book in China dealing with international cyber thieves. NSA, HLS, CIA the capitol soup mix are all involved but claim it is someone else's job to care. A good start but a weak finish. Decently entertaining.
3.0 out of 5 stars Sadly average. 5 Nov. 2014

I thought there was potential but the plot just became so far-fetched. Sadly just another average story in a sea of thrillers.
