It is clear that Miley is trying to shrug of her past playing Hannah Montana and start anew in the music industry with this edgy and gothic new look and dancy track.

I like it and I think it will make the top ten but its not as catchy as her last song 'Party in the USA' and I think she is trying too hard now to prove she is no longer the clean cut girl she played on Hannah Montana and I think it comes out in the song. In Party in the USA, I thought she had made the jump from Disney to mainstream quite well but now I feel like she has taken a step backwards.

I am a fan of her and I hope the new album is good and that the next song does not show her desperation to be mainstream so clearly. She is only 17, and I do realise she may be striving for this since Hannah Montana is rumoured to have now ended but I think she needs to chill a little.

Despite this, I do like the song and it either grows on you or its like Marmite.
