Paper is loaded at the top, have found no problems and would highly recommend this product
However, after only a few days of use, I have experienced serious problems with paper-handling on CD jewel case papers such as Avery and Phoenix. The printer very often fails to load the reverse side of the paper to the correct position before starting printing, with the result that it either starts printing too high up (ruining the entire paper) or starts printing off the sheet altogether while failing to load the paper properly. Either way, a huge amount of expensive ink and time is wasted. On the Avery paper this happens once in about every three prints; on the Phoenix paper it is happening about four times out of five so far.
For a printer that is speifically designed to print on to CDs and DVDs, you might have thought it reasonable to expect that it could handle CD jewel case papers consistently too, but it doesn't. I'm deeply disappointed by this limitation. Buyer be warned!
