I chose this printer as the ink replacements didn't seem too badly priced. It came, and I was initially quite pleased with it - it was easy to set up, easy to put the ink in (this coming from someone who once spent half an hour trying to replace an ink cartridge, only to find she had it upside down ...). But to my great disappointment, the photocopier function doesn't have the capacity to decrease or increase the size of the thing you're trying to copy, which was was one of my main reasons for getting a new all-in-one! (Having said that, you can make it 'fit the page', which may mean some slight increase or decrease, but not choose, say 125%.) Having looked a little harder today, it seems I would have to pay almost double for that function. Additionally, it didn't come with a cable to connect to the PC, but luckily my old printer's cable worked!
So, if you just want to do a basic print or copy (or scan), this is OK. The print quality on photos isn't brilliant, but it's OK for black and white Word documents.
