Wow! What great results for a marginal increase in price. I'd recommend this paper to anyone who has a Canon printer.
This paper - PP201 - is 100x150mm, or 4x6". It's what you'd call your standard snapshot size, like what you'd have once got back from a high street film developers unless you specifically asked for larger prints. It has a highly glossy finish, and is quite nicely weighted at 260g/m^2. Canon give it a 5 star rating on the packaging but I have struggled to find out exactly what that is supposed to mean. The paper is compatible with ChromaLife100 inks, which Canon claim will last for decades without fading.
I use the paper with a PIXMA iP4700 printer and the genuine Canon inks, and I have to say the results are pleasing. For most Canon printers the ICC profile you would select for this specific paper is one of GL1, GL2, or GL3 (with 1 being the highest quality print, 3 the lowest).
For showing off great photos I use Canon's A4 sized Pro II paper, but for test prints, montages, printing off snaps for friends and so on, Pro Glossy II is ideal. In the 50-sheet box it's so cheap per print that I wouldn't even bother buying a lower quality paper for "everyday use".
