With over 3 million autograph collectors and an annual revenue of more than $4 billion (yes that is B for Billion) and this information shared in only the introduction you gotta find out more...

The book is full of interesting stories, lots with accompanying pictures, that will have you saying Wow also. Unless of course you already know the facts about collecting autographs which before reading this book I certainly did not.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful, informative and some COOL PICTURES! 26 Feb. 2013

I enjoyed Brian's book: Can I Have Your Autograph? It has some history, how-to's and such, but I really enjoyed the samples, pictures et al that really enhanced an interesting but potentially dry subject. Brian's 'folksy' writing style pulled me in to the story line and I found myself intrigued by the whole autograph process and, really, sub-culture. I recommend this short and pithy look at the world of Autograph Collecting. Mike

5.0 out of 5 stars More than just celebrity autographs 27 Feb. 2013
By bkworm - Published on Amazon.com

Great book on the hobby of collecting autographs. I assumed at first that it would be dealing with just celebrity autographs, but the book goes much further. The author gives an interesting background in the history of autograph collecting, and weaves in interesting historical figures. The photographs of actual signed autographs were a delight to see. The author also educates on the importance of using a third-party authenticator, and gives many tips on determining if an autograph is authentic. There were some unique strategies to getting celebrity autographs by mail, which I never would have thought of. Well-written and interesting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Profitable hobby 26 Feb. 2013

When I think of all the times when a celebrity or sports person was nearby and I missed an opportunity to ask for an autograph, I didn't realize it could be so valuable.
I enjoyed the various explanations around the hobby, how to determine the various kinds of signatures and even how the signature can reveal more about the person. The illustrations were great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Liked This 24 Mar. 2013
By Shadow Of The Ghost Hunter - Published on Amazon.com

Everyone who has ever looked at an autographed item really appreciates what it means to have an autograph from someone you consider famous whether that be a movie star, musician, band, political figure, sports figure, or an author. I have met famous actors in strange places during my lifetime but did not feel comfortable at that time just simply asking them for their autograph. I have looked at guitars signed by famous musicians and also sports collectibles signed by famous sports figures. It is exciting to look at these things, especially when they are old. This book was a joy to read because it discusses all the ins and outs of getting autographs and what is felt in getting them.
