This board book makes fruit and vegetables seem interesting to little ones by looking at them according to their colours and showing pictures of fun animals made out of the various fruit & veg. A really good idea! Even if it doesn't persuade fussy eaters to actually eat the fruit and veg, it is still a colourful, fun book to use with them anyway. If nothing else, it might help them learn about colours and also learn more about the different types of fruit and vegetables out there, even if they still won't eat them!

My hubby bought this book and I was quite dubious about it. But our two year old loved it. It goes through the rainbow with pictures of the fruit and veg of each colour. On each page there is an animal made up of fruit and veg, on the red page its a rabbit on the blue/purple page its and elephant. We like to look at it and the end of the day and spot what we've eaten today. A good tool for teaching both fruit and veg and colours, a think a particularly good book for preschools and nurseries.

Each page of the book features a different fruits and vegetables of a certain colour. A great way of making young children aware of the range of fruit and vegetables available to them as part of a healthy diet. As a trainee teacher, i will certainly be making good use of this book!

This is one of two books my children spent ages looking at and recognising pictures of. It is missing some fruits and veggies, however it is a beautifully arranged book with plenty of bright colours.
