Move over Horrid Henry . . . Maisie Mae's in town!
From the Back Cover
Maisie's family are heading to France for the best camping trip ever! There'll be croissants and baguettes and . . . snails?
But when they arrive, France feels an awful lot like England. And camping seems like an awful lot of bother. Especially when you've got FIVE stinky brothers who are talented in the art of being really extremely ANNOYING.

But then Maisie meets Mademoiselle Claudette and things start looking up. Perhaps camping might be OOH LA LA after all?

Armed with useful French phrases, such as “How much is the chocolate?” and “Please ignore my brothers,” Maisie Mae is determined to enjoy every moment of her holiday. However, travelling for a long time with five brothers is sure to test anyone’s patience. Will Maisie Mae enjoy her camping trip with no Bethany to play with?
As always, this is a great read for girls aged 7+. This is a fun story about experiencing new places, making new friends and having an exciting time on holiday. This book had particular appeal for my daughter as she has two brothers, so can sympathise with Maisie Mae’s desire for a female friend to play with. I really hope that there will be more books in this series, as they are so much fun. My only small complaint is that the book cover says there is a free bookmark inside, but we were unable to find ours, which was a shame. Overall, though, a great read.
