This is a ridiculous story which in of itself is bad. The worst thing is though than when people read such trashy fiction about the holocaust they may believe that the whole thing was made up. There are many true moving stories that you could read instead. This makes a dreadful event seem trivial. I expected something so much more realistic. Very disappointed. Very upset. I would give it minus stars if I could.

I really enjoyed this book. I could imagine the story going on around me as I read. The characters were really good and there was a nice twist at the end. It certainly kept me turning the pages. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying it.

I rarely leave reviews but this is a very badly written book - clunky dialogue, unbelievable characters and an utterly ludicrous story. Can't choose zero stars so it's got one.

This book was a little hard to read as a 'story with characters' at first as so many of the atrocities have occurred in the concentration camps, however it was a book I could not put down and I was eager to see how this was going end. It was very interesting to see the humanity grow where you would never consider there to be any. Would definitely wish to read another of his books.

I found this book very readable, it tells of a Camp Guard who discovers his family in the camp. True it is a little far fetched at times but do not let this put you off. Its is a good story and well worth reading.

A very interesting novel and well written. The characters were very believable. I found it hard to put down. I looked for more books by this author, but sadly none of interest like this one was to me.

A beautifully written book. Heart breaking to read at times as it puts into perspective what the concentration camps were truly Like and how so many Jews suffered. Would recommend to those who have read similar books .

I never knew what to expect when I purchased this book but it is definitely beyond my expectations. It may start with harsh descriptions of the concentration camps but you do feel all the different emotions and the end was truly amazing even though it was sad in a way. If you like books to do with family, sacrifice or anything to do with concentration camps then this is a must read, definitely worth the money!
