This book is full of family, hope but also plenty of love.
When Camilla is pursued by an ex she is worried her fiance Jared will believe the lies he is spreading.
There are a few twists & turns along the way but at least they get their HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars I like Bayou Bound in the Fleur de Lis series better 8 Mar. 2017

Linda Joyce writes about the Gulf coast: the people, their land and their heritage. The Fleur de Lis Bride series is about 3 cousins Camilla, Branna and Biloxi. Now adults the women have returned home to accept their duties to their families and heritage. A little romance is woven into each story, a little suspense and a level of accomplishment. The Bride series could have had more developed characters and story line. I like Bayou Bound in the Fleur de Lis series better.

At every turn Camilla was afraid something would stop her wedding. The determination of both kept them going forward. Loved this series. Every one loves a bride. So looking forward to Linda Joyce's next book.
4.0 out of 5 stars Camilla weddings 12 Feb. 2017
By lisa jung - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This is the 3rd book and ex bad girl Camilla story. It's after the storm and Camilla and Jared are engaged but a old problem comes up. But Camilla is a true Southern bell and overcome it. Jared is great but its funny that they seem to not trust him because hes from the west but hes a true hero. Loved these two together and made for a fun read. Loved the idea for a Mardi Gras wedding - read the book and enjoy.
The book was a gift as part of book tour but i was honored to be asked to read this author's book.
5.0 out of 5 stars Camilla's Chance 10 Feb. 2017
By Illinois Reader - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This is the third bride in the Fleur de Lies family of brides, and probably my favorite. Former "bad girl," Camilla has fallen in love with Jarred and wants nothing more to be his wife but when she is ready. Meanwhile she resists unwanted advances and waits for Jarred to return from his restoration work following Hurricane Catrina. There are some ugly moments from her sister's former fiancé (the jerk that Camilla made sure to remove from the wedding by sleeping with him.) The thing about Camilla however is that she is 100% loyal to Jarred and infuriated by even having to talk to the jerk.

The end wedding was the most creative and original idea I had read about.  I loved the way Camilla had once again become a loving member of the family, and put that love into her wedding planning.

The author has created a wonderful and often quirky family who's loyalty to the ancestral home, to the other family members, and to their community is admirable and altruistic. These solid people of the Bayou are as real as any flesh and blood people due to Ms. Joyce's fertile imagination and wonderful way with words. Enchanting!
5.0 out of 5 stars A clean romance 20 Mar. 2017

I received a free book and voluntarily chose to review it. Camilla is my strong woman in this story. She knows what she wants and intends to get it. I did find a minor problem in the story that left me hanging. Otherwise, this is a wonderful story with a problem to solve.
