Product description

I am delighted that the developer and best-selling author of Mind Calm, Sandy Newbigging has provided me with a beautiful foreword for this little book of poems, which I have called Calm InSight. It never started with an intention to create a book, instead it arose from a compilation of what I called my 'little rhymes' on my Facebook page. They were written to illustrate the day-to-day challenges, especially the mind-based ones, that are familiar to most of us, and to perhaps provide some new perspectives on how to deal with them. They proved more popular than other posts and eventually I heard the often repeated suggestion that I should publish them. Calm InSight is the result. What I didn't fully realise at the time, was that the period during which I was writing the poems was also the period during which my family was dealing with a challenging new reality. This little burst of creativity was probably more helpful to me than to anyone else, and as such, I hope that it provides some inspiration to anyone who reads it to discover their own creativity by learning how to put the busy mind aside when it has done its work.
