Absolutely love this series! Gutted they aren't all on kindle unlimited but it's worth the money.
Elle Casey is a brilliant writer. She gets the storylines just right to catch you out. Love Jayne's sense of humour too.

seamlessly. Jayne and her friends are just learning about their new powers and also the threat to the Light Fae from the Dark Fae and also how are Orcs able to get into the Light Fae world. It would seem that a war is coming and pretty soon if the signs are read correctly.

Jayne now discovers that she is an Elemental and has dominion over Earth and Water, Finn is a Green Elf, Spike a Succubus, Becky a Water Sprite, Chase a Daemon and Jayne's bodyguard, Tony is a Grey Elf and Jared, well Jared was always Fae. We also get to meet Ben for the first time.

We also meet the rather annoying Pixie called Tim who Jayne liberates from under a belljar in Dardennes office. He promises not to pixellate anyone but does so accidentally to Chase who has to go to the Dark Fae Compound to get healed. We also meet Maggie a horrid old hag who lives in an 'Ancient' tree. She says she can cure Chase but needs a Pixie wing.........she is totally obsessed with anything green. Tim valiantly offers her a wing to help Chase.

As the War is getting ever closer all the Changelings must up their game and learn how to defend themselves.

I couldn't help but laugh at Tim's antics particularly his problem with fa*****!

Why do the Grey Elves keep on calling Jayne Mother? Well, there's only one remedy for this and that's to read the book.

As i said in my last review - im terrible at explaining myself so i apologise for anything you dont understand LOL

The second book is fab, it follows on straight from the last, and i was not disapointed..
I love how jaynes character develops and the storyline moves so seamlessly that you just cant help but be drawn in.
The new characters introduced all fit perfectly - especially of course tim, he is possibly my fave character of all time - so funny and keeps jayne on her toes.

ive read them all so cant remember what happens in each book, but i love them all.. jayne is fab - if sometimes annoying, tim is hilarious, the whole ben thing is predictable but intresting, the story is never slow - always keeping you reading and wanting to get to the final result..

I love the writing style as ive mentioned before - not to in your face/shoving descriptions down your throat, allowing you to make your own imagination light up..

loved the whole pixelated fae thing - so funny and not at all unbelieveable - just really really creepy..

thanx for reading x

Jayne Sparks is a feisty , if a bit potty mouthed heroine and this book, like it's predecessor is written in the modern vernacular which I find refreshingly good, which is a bit surprising as I'm in my 60's and don't personally speak that way myself. Her dialogues with Maggie the Witch are great!

This is the second book in the Fae Wars series by Elle Casey and I couldn't wait for my Kindle to download volume three. It's honestly THAT GOOD! Go on, treat yourself if you don't laugh out loud at the farting Pixie then see someone and get your humour bypass sorted out. Life's too short not too have a good laugh now and then, though the books aren't pure comedy they are also very good fantasy adventure novels.

I love this series, I really like every single character in the book and I can tell that the story has been really well thought out and written. I love the sass of the female lead (Jayne) I have been sat a number of times in a cafe, chuckling to myself with the things she says, hoping people don't think I'm nuts or anything.
The only problem I have with the books is that they seem to end too quickly! Could be due to the fact I don't put it down. thankfully I can just get the next book. (phew!!)
If anyone is thinking about making the purchase I would strongly advise.

I started reading this book at midnight! I finished the first book in the series with it's terrible cliffhanger and had to buy and start reading the second book straight away! I loved the new character of Tim! As I read the books without pause I can't remember quite what happened in each book, so don't want to say too much about the plot development in case of spoilers. However, throughout the series the author's development of how Jayne and the other characters perceive "good" and "evil" is very well done and challenging to the reader's perception .

I love this series, it truly is imaginative and a 'grip you and pull you in from the start' piece of fiction. I love Elle's ability to 'show' you her imagination whilst absorbing her words. I do have one gripe though and I did say this on another review site, I got cross with over repetitiveness from what happened in the previous book, if this could be cut down a smidge then Elle would be up there with my top favourite authors. I found myself skipping bits where we were being told why so and so was happening because of such and such from the previous book, it was more so than a lot of other authors who write trilogies and such. A need to curb too much info would be fantastic but then it might only be me it bothers so hey don't take it personal Elle, it's just my personal gripe. I also didn't think it warranted removing a star from on Amazon coz without a doubt I love these books.

I absolutely adore This Fae series, Fae is not something I had ever read before but Elle has me hooked with it and her wonderfully colourful characters, so go buy this next instalment, set aside a few hours (if your a quick reader like me) and go escape into Jayne's world again and enjoy the ride.
