This review is for the cashier set of 3 journals - 120 pages, last 16 detachable, 19cmx25cm, acid free paper with inner pocket.

Despite the inflated price I bought these journals because they suited me size wise and it seems next to impossible to buy unlined notebooks of any quality these days without buying something extremely flashy and/or that comes with fiddly extras.

The paper is stitched into the book. It is thin paper as another reviewer mentioned but having used an ordinary black Bic pen and a light coloured gel pen at, what I would say, is average pressure, it is possible to write on both sides of the paper. I think a fountain pen would bleed massively and I don't think both sides of the paper could be used. As it is, yes there is a 'shadow' of what is written on the other side of the paper but for me it isn't intrusive and the journals as a whole are exactly what I want.

Superb. I've used these little notebooks for years. They slip easily into the breast pocket of a suit jacket without disturbing the line of the suit at all. They are big enough for essential notes or sketches. Whilst they are very slim, I find they last about 6 months.

The journals are a little smaller than I expected but, I suppose I may have slightly overestimated the "pocket" sizing. Nonetheless, they're wonderful, typical of Moleskine. They're perfect for on-the-go, if you're the sort of person who often has to write little things down to remember (& really, sticky notes aren't always that convenient when you're moving around), if you like to doodle and scribble here and there or if, like me, your job requires noting down bits and bobs. They're very useful to have in my opinion and I would definitely recommend.

5/5 service, perfect condition, quick delivery :-)

I love Moleskine notebooks and they never fail to delivery, both literally (as this is amazon) and in quality.
Classic plain sketchbooks at a good price, came undamaged, great stuff.
I'd recommend this product to most from the old to the young, they are smart looking little things.

I love the paper as all products of this company. But it may be due to me not looking well enough but there are actually 3 little journals with half of the pages to rip out half not. It's not lined, very light and fits easily everywhere. if you use a ballpoint pen then the ink will be seen on the other side.
