I have been using this product for about a year now for my dual monitor set up. I use it to connect my VGA only screen to the DVI port on my Dell PC. I haven't noticed any loss in image quality and the converter itself feels of a high quality.
The VGA cable from my computer can be easily and securely attached to this device with the screw in function these adapters have. This adapter then easily screws into the back of my computer to prevent it from coming loose and causing me to lose the image on the screen.
Be sure that if you order this you know which way around this is as you can only plug the DVI end into the FEMALE port of the computer and the VGA port on the adapter will only connect to the MALE cable.
Overall this product is exactly what i needed and it is very long lasting and i recommend it to anyone looking for this product cheaply and of excellent quality
