Product description

An extremely sturdy TFT Desk Arm finished in a modern matt black painted effect. This clamps onto a desktop using the two steel clamps and the arm can then be adjusted to the optimum height using the pole clamp (allen key supplied). The arm can be adjusted at both the rear and front swivel points and the plate can be tilted or rotated. A cable hook is in place to support the cables from the TFT screen to the vertical pole. Designed to fit most TFT screens as it complies with VESA standards for screens with mounting holes which are 75mm or 100mm apart (simply measure the distance between the mounting holes on your model and if they are 75mm or 100mm apart then this will fit). Supports up to 10kg in weight. Dimensions: Max Height - 43cm, Max Extension - 35.5cm, Min Projection - 15cm, Clamp Adjustment - 0cm to 9cm.

I have just mounted my 27" very heavy monitor to this stand and it's perfect, Tbh I think I could hang my car from this mount and it would be ok. The build quality is superb and is made from a very thick steel. The swivel joints are all of high quality and can be tightened using the supplied Allen key. The stand has plenty of adjustment and even with a 27" screen has plenty of height allowing for a comfortable viewing angle. I would highly recommend this mount it is far better quality than others of the same price.

If you are wondering, as I did before I bought these clamps, whether they are any good, rest assured that these clamps are fantastic! I was concerned with them being at the cheaper end of the price range, that they might not be strong enough to hold the monitor, or that they might wobble and annoy me. Well, forget those worries! These clamps hold up my Dell 24" monitors perfectly and are much more stable that the original stand was (especially as I had it balanced on a box to increase the height).

I would recommend these stands as a very good buy and would certainly buy more if I needed them.

Got this to mount an old Acer 19 inch widescreen vertical next to a new 24 inch. Works pretty well. I've actually removed the long horizontal "middle" arm because my desk is a bit small, but it still fits back together fine with an extra washer.

Once its all fixed up you can still push the screen around (only when you want to, it's plenty stiff enough to hold steady) and also tilt and rotate the screen anytime you want (which is a plus since I bought it thinking it wouldn't rotate as well).

I bought this for a 17" LCD screen. Was worried that it would be flimsy and wobble but it is sturdy and well built. It has two clamps to hold it onto the table, which makes it more stable than some of the others I have seen. You can move the screen in any direction you like and it's easy to put together. It has holes for both 7.5 cm vesa and 10 cm vesa screen mounts.

Does what it says on the tin.

Very simple assembly, no issues mounting the monitor, all screws supplied etc.

The hand tightening of the arm to the main pole could be improved - a bit of effort required to make sure arm does not slip. After this effort applied, the arm is rock solid.

I mounted a 24 inch monitor in PORTRAIT mode - for anyone who is wondering whether this is tall enough to do so - there's ton of room to spare. By my measurements you could probably have a 27 inch in portrait, but with no room to spare (i.e. edge resting on desk surface).

Anyway - give us an allon key to tighten the arm in place of hand turning "quick release" and I'd be happier.

I used this to mount a 24" monitor, assembly was a breeze, it contained 4 screws for the VESA mount, and a handy allen key for the bolts used to adjust it. Once assembled it is rock solid!!!

You can adjust the height of the arm, the tilt (up/ down) of the monitor mount, and you can easily move the monitor around on the arm. The bench clamp (2 of them) can be adjusted to account for thicknesses from 0 to at least 6".

I'm very happy with this and would recommend it.

I purchased this stand to allow me to adjust the height of my monitor easily as I was suffering from neck pain due to the time I spend on the computer.

I was looking for something that did not break the bank but would not fall apart when adjusted. The gas stands, while giving a lot of movement were all very expensive and at the end of the day most people do not adjust their monitor continuously. This stand more than meets the criteria and much more. The complete stand is very robust and you can feel this as soon as you take it from the packaging. There are two locking screws for clamping it onto the table which make the vertical upright very secure. The horizontal arm is also very rigid and the swivel joints for the horizontal movement are very "tight", well made and well finished (openings covered with plastic caps) - The allen key even has the end covered with plastic so that the user does not hurt the palm of their hand when tightening the screws. - great attention to detail.

I am 6ft 2in tall and there is ample height in the vertical stand to adjust the monitor to a nice viewing height.

The only minor downside is that the clamp which secures the horizontal arm to the vertical arm requires a fair bit of pressure to tighten properly - this is not really an issue if you are not moving the monitor height constantly. If the monitor height/distance is going to be adjusted daily then you would be better going for a more expensive solution.

Overall, would highly recommend this stand and think that it is great value for money.

Woah, am I impressed with this product. Not only did Cable Mountain get this to me the day after I ordered it, but supplied all the bits and an instruction sheet so even an idiot like me could assemble it easily.

I was especially grateful for the allen key with a nice rubberised handle so I could screw it together at my desk while the phone was ringing, people were asking me questions, and I didn't have to damage my buttery soft writers hands.

This stand looks like it could support monitors ten times the weight of the little diddy 21.5" monitor I'm using it with at present - it's incredibly tough and beautifully made. It took me ten minutes to put it together, I'm using it now to support the monitor I'm writing this review on, and for once I don't have any concerns about a poorly supported screen crashing down on my desk in the middle of writing - not for the potential damage to the monitor, but because this is an open plan office and I'd be embarrassed.

All in all, a great product and fantastic service from Cable Mountain.
