Like most people I'd only really heard of Radar Love. I never realised that they'd brought out so many albums and I can see why they are so popular. Superb CD, brilliant music

5.0 out of 5 stars If you are looking at this page, you should get this album 17 Aug. 2016
By Lt. Frank Bullitt - Published on Amazon.com

For years is was nearly impossible to find this album. Golden Earring re-released their collection and then everything came out at the same time. I was overjoyed to see this again. The remastered version is excellent, without succumbing to the loudness wars and horrible clipping.

Golden Earring is a mixed bag. They are a fabulous live band, but their studio albums often lack some luster. I think Cut and Moontan are their strongest studio releases, but still not nearly as good as the live Naked albums. Sadly most people will only know this album for its radio singles. Baby Dynamite and the awesome Secrets are some of the strongest songs on the album. Golden Earring is a good old-fashioned rock & roll band with a Dutch twist. They've been around longer than dirt and managed to stay together through it all.

If you are a Golden Earring fan, you already have this album. If you are looking at this page, you should get this album.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good, But The Bands Most Overrated Effort. 19 Jun. 2016

Before I get blasted, I've been a huge fan of this band since the early seventies and have seen them in concert. I have also been listening to all of their main studio albums in chronological order. To me, Cut, despite the presence of the hit Twilight Zone, marked the beginning of a slump for the band. It continued with NEWS, The Hole, Keeper of the Flame, and Love Sweat, before they came storming back with the classic Bloody Buccaneers,
Other than Twilight Zone, the rest of the cuts are relatively sub par, in my opinion. I do like Secrets a lot too. A good album for sure but Earrings most overrated, to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Their best effort 9 Feb. 2015
By Tony - Published on Amazon.com

Ok, this is my favourite Golden Earring album so I may be a bit biased on the review. I bought this to give yet another LP a rest. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find this on CD and I am so glad I found it here. It is an import, hence the price and runs at only 38 minutes, but to me it is worth it. I love every song, not just Twilight Zone. The album has a great flow to it and I am so happy to have it on CD now.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bullet Really Hit the Bone 8 Mar. 2010
By David S. Heltman - Published on Amazon.com

I've been a casual fan of Golden Earring since "Radar Love" was a hit, but lately I've been re-discovering them. Every song on "Cut" is a real gem. "Twilight Zone" is a great rocker, but as good as it is, it isn't the best track. My personal favorite is "Last of the Mohicans" (Dick, it's gotta good beat and ya can dance to it I give it a 95). I really had no idea these guys were as talented as they show on every album they've ever recorded. as far as I'm concerned these amazing musicians were to the Netherlands and Europe what the Beatles were to Britain. You can't go wrong purchasing this (or any other) album by Golden Earring.

Love this album. A prized possession. My favorite song is Charging Up My Batteries.
