I found this Jack the answer to jacking my caravan, there are many problems with trying to jack a caravan as with a puncher, the chassis is very low to the ground. If using a sizer jack the weight at this low level is just too much for the jack to lift at the start. If using a trolley jack you must be on a very smooth suface for the wheels of the trolly to run under the caravan as the jack lifts, and a smooth surface is very unlikly. By using this air jack with good protection for it both on the ground & especially around the chassis of the caravan the problem was solved.
On a safty note you MUST have your caravan coupled to your car before you attempt to jack it up. If you don't as soon as the wheel starts to lift off the road your van will skew round, this is because the jack is like a big sqiggy balloon ! That said it is easy to use, on my car there are twin exhaust pipes very close together making it imposible to attach the pipe supplied. No problem my car came with a 12 volt tyre compressor,I made a simple adaptor tube to couple the two together. You need about 8 PSI to lift one side of an average caravan with this jack. It is very light so better to carry than my old trolly jack. Over all an ideal solution to many jacking situations. 10 out of 10. One minor point, the two rubber matts suppied to protect the jack in use are rather too small.

Very usefull PROVIDING the jacking surface is flat. You cannot use this tool on, say a chassis, so it is no good for lifting a caravan unless you lift on the underside of the floor and that can be dodgy!! That said, it does fulfil it's design purpose.

The Jack was useless and it would not operate ie inflate. It looked as though it had already been sent to another buyer and they in turn had returned it due to its failure to inflate. Amazon have promised me my purchase money and the cost of returning the item and that has been going on now for nearly a month. I have not had the purchase money or the postage returned to me I am very disappointed with the service of Amazon they have not full filled my buyers rights. I am now reporting to Trading Standards and the credit card company that I use.

I used it in Africa. It took a while to work it out. You really need something tough like canvas to put under and above it.
Also there must be a technique to keep the hose pipe on the exhaust. If you have 3 or 4 hands then you'll be fine :-)

Again, maybe because I'm a novice.
