    Das Modul läuft schnell und stabil. Mit Hilfe des Software I2C kann man es auch an anderen Pins verwenden und z.B. über einen Interrupt mit maximaler Geschwindigkeit auslesen.

    So kann man z.B. ein Display an dem nativen I2C betreiben, und bremst den GY-271 nicht aus.

    Wichtig ist jedoch eine Kompensation/Normierung der Basisvektoren und die Bestimmung der Nullpunktlage. Sonst ist die Ausgabe des Winkels nicht linear zut Drehung.

    Man sollte noch anmerken, daß man das Modul allein nur als Kompass verwenden kann, wenn es im Betrieb nicht gekippt wird. Bei Kippung benötigt man noch einen Gyrosensor, um die Inklenation zu korrigieren. (+ etwas Mathe) Genauere Informationen darüber stehen im Datenblatt.

    Für eine Anwendung mit Kippung würde ich das Modul CMPS11 empfehlen.

    Habe damit eine Luftuhr gebaut, das Modul misst die Zeigerstellung über das Erdmagnetfeld.
    Funktioniert ganz prächtig, theoretisch bis zu 160 Messungen pro Sekunde, da kommt der Arduino schon gar nicht mehr hinterher, realistisch sind vielleicht 20 Messungen pro Sekunde. Eine passende Library findet man im Netz. Aufpassen, da war unter dem Tisch eine Stahlstrebe, so dass die Schaltung auf der Werkbank eben gerade nicht funktionierte. Es dürfen selbstredend keine Magnete in der Nähe herumliegen. Ein Spannungsregler 5V nach 3,3V befindet sich auf dem Board. Und wie immer gilt: Mittelwerte sagen mehr als Einzelwerte, also z.B. 16 Werte zusammen addieren und 4x nach rechts shiften, dann klappt's auch mit der Genauigkeit.
