Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
For over thirty years I worked in British primary education as a class teacher and then as head teacher of four different schools.
I retired early about ten years ago and have developed an interest in e-publishing as well as writing. I've published several novels written by my husband, Michael Murray, including the best selling detective novel "A Single To Filey: a DCI Tony Forward novel". More details on Michael's author page. We've lived in rural Yorkshire for over thirty years and celebrated our ruby wedding a couple of years ago.
I've been a passionate family historian for many years and have become the custodian of all my family's memorabilia. I've written about some of our family history at https://www.writingafamilyhistory.com/ and created a Family History WW1 tribute at https://writingafamilyhistory.wordpress.com/
I'm an enthusiastic blogger and you can catch me every day at https://3sixtyfiveblog.wordpress.com/
When I'm not writing, blogging and e-publishing I enjoy reading, gardening, country walks, music, films etc. A cancer diagnosis in mid-2017 has curtailed the walking somewhat and the garden has become a bit of a wilderness! Wild flowers, thistle collection and some very grateful garden birds! But our marvellous NHS and the wonders of medical science are keeping me going for which I'm truly grateful. I'm thrilled that "Cabbage and Semolina" has resonated with so many readers and really appreciate the reviews. Thanks again for reading my profile and hope you're having a great day.
