This very well written book contains surveys of ALL the London boroughs. With the outer boroughs enjoying a massive renaissance, this full coverage is of genuine value. The book is very evenhanded in its judgments about the area options available and gives credit wherever it is due. What becomes clear is the theme that one should investigate the outer regions of Greater London - it's often possible to find an architecturally identical property for virtually half the price just by looking a few miles further out. Local restaurants and coffee bars will often be branches of exactly the same chains as found in the inner areas. Meanwhile, outer London borough schools are much better and crime levels are lower. A real case of getting more for less.
