Format: Audio CD
It's salutary to note that Terry Chimes' back pain clinic is just around the corner from where I live, so it's surely safe to assume he (and I suppose the others) have moved on from their punk rock roots and don't exactly need the money, so why release this. Can't be love can it? Stalwarts of the punk/new wave scene such as these gentlemen should surely have grown up and moved into acoustic balladry by now shouldn't they?
Thankfully not. This is an album that will have folk of a certain age tapping their toes and smiling wistfully as they remember the old days of the 100 Club, the Marquee or whatever godforsaken local venue you saw The Clash, Pistols, Jam, Sham 69 etc etc in. To be fair there is nothing "new" here. Sounding a bit like the Boomtown Rats on slower tracks like "Yesterday's Boys and Girls" or The Clash on more meaty numbers such as "Down by the Border" the one band they do remind me of is the Motors. Tuneful, guitar riffery is to the fore and even if they aren't breaking many molds, why should they? Sure, this isn't a work of great depth or art but as a sage once said "**** art let's dance" This is fun and deserves a listen.

Great album and would have sold massively if this line up was together as a band when people actually bought records! Turn back the clock and enjoy!

With all the computerised recommendation systems it still takes a physical human being to say "check this out".

Cracking album.
