Only had a little while...so far so good. It would be nicer if the display were a little brighter and also, seeing as they've gone to the trouble of putting the analogue markings on the face, if it actually simulated and analogue watch when you weren't using it on the course. Minor gripes though......so not a show stopper for me.
Distances seem accurate and the addition of distances to hazards etc. is what I needed.....a real step up from my Garmin S1. I've not connected it to the Phone App yet so can't comment on that feature.....not sure I want text messages bothering me on the course anyway.
UPDATE Okay...had it since October 2017 and have now played many rounds using the watch. 1. Takes longer than I would expect to get a sat' link 2. Feels a little 'cheap'...very light and 'plasticy'...especially for the money. 3. Yardages seem okay...not brilliant, but okay. (I'm judging this against my laser finder) 4. Most importantly......it's started to turn itself off and not allowing me to turn it back on.....an absolute treat when you are about to tee off! ( I will be contacting Bushnell about item 4)
So all in all......I would advise against purchasing this one....if it were around £100 I'd say go for it but for £175 you can get much better.
Good but not great is a fair summary from another reviewer
I have found the battery life to be excellent. Definitely capable of 3 rounds between charging, but I do not use the bluetooth connection.
It is very comfortable and easy to read. Distances seem to be accurate as well.
Buttons are not always responsive. Takes a while to hook up to a GPS signal at start of round (1-2 minutes) Incapable of keeping time accurately - this might be a function of battery life, ie as battery life gets down below 25% time keeping worsens. However as this is a basic function of a sports watch it is disappointing
The price is good, I would be happy to recommend it, just as a golf only watch not as a day to day watch.
Update June 2018
Sadly Bushnell has a reliability problem. After just over a year, some of the buttons are now very unresponsive. I have had several complete resets even when battery is fully charged which is a complete pain in the middle of a round. Charging will result in the message "100% charged" appearing for a long time after the watch has been disconnected from the charger.
At those problems to the ones I highlighted originally and the conclusion is that this watch is not really fit for purpose. Avoid it and buy something else
Have played 4 rounds with this watch, no way does it compare with the Bushnell Ion it replaced. It takes a long while to pick up signal, it loses holes and does not keep time. Played yesterday, battery at start of round 100%, got to 14th hole battery dead. On returning home, tried to charge battery but it is not taking a charge, I can just about make out that the watch face is saying ALERT BATTERY LOW. I gave my previous Bushnell to a golfing friend, now wish I had kept it.
